It seems like all of the camera's I have bought in the last year and a half only last very few rides.
I have a Canon SD1100 and this weekend in WV the camera zoom quit and I missed many photo op's because of the lense error restart the camera message.
I know it is the dust causing it.
Does anyone Camera help Lol have a good durable trail camera recommendation for me. Or tell me how to keep this from happening?
The camera is in a sweatshirt pouch when riding to protect it from the elements and to pad it comfortably. Camera help Icon_lol

Here's a very nice write-up…
at the recommendation of the “Tall Guy” we now have one of these also…
Nice and sturdy feeling camera. Like the weather resistant feature.

Good Luck hope it helps

Slopoke I don't have any camera info for you I just use something that cost about $150 don't even remember what kind it is. But I keep my camera and my phone in a hard plastic waterproof box. It’s just about 5X4X4 bought it at Wal-Mart and it keeps the dust and water out. Had that thing for about 3 years and it is very solid and stays dry inside. Look in the camping section they come in different sizes and there cheap clear with a blue tint to them.
