| I hope to scrub them on a local ride Sunday. Since I'll have to clean the Brute after, I just let the blue be until then.
I'll drop the pressure to 6. I'm going back to MTC June 8th with 3 others. If any of you guys are up there, look us up. Cabin 7.

| I figured there was a ride behind the urgency to get new tires. | |

| Smart man Ruger. You figured correctly! I try to go up there every couple of months. Thinking about a Rockhouse / Bearwallow / Buffalo trip in late August. | |

| I always liked the "mystery machine!" I don't really think it counts a a redneck car...maybe "hippie car." | |

| I took a 15 mile test ride yesterday. Initial impression is good to great. Coming off the MudLites, the ride was very smooth. I could more easily make it tail happy and control it more with the throttle. We're in a drought here so no mud. And the steering was much lighter. I guess it would compare to being on stock tires in that regard. We rode Clay Root, some UDT's (user defined trails) running along side a small creek. We almost made it to a neighboring county but turned around when we hit a no trespassing sign. Here are a few photos. It looked the same all the way through so I didn't take many. No width restrictions on this system, but: Got boat? The trail looked like this... | |

| Glad you got out on the new threads... Looks like a "cool" place to ride... That quadski may have come in handy down there...? What's with the white helmet | |

| That quadski would have been challenged by the trees that had fallen into the creek. In October last year we received 28" of rain from the remnants of T/S Nicole. This whole area was under 10 or more feet of water. There were right many obstacles back in there. I think that's where the 17 ton sign came from...
The little white helmet? That's my rock climbing helmet. IE: riding Outlaw trails in the land where Snell / DOT approval is not required! It is a lot cooler than my black "official" helment. You sure don't miss much!!

| Mine is a ProTec as well. It's actually a white water rafting / kayaking helmet. It has more openings, designed for use in water. | |

| I hate to even write this, but I have a big head. You know what they say about people with big heads. "Man, he's got a big head".
Best I can recall, I ordered the big one (obviously) and it fits OK. Not much help huh...
I bet Greg will know... | |
