| For those of you who have been wondering about my knee replacement, I guess it was a success they sent me home anyway with some new parts. Start physical therapy Monday. OUCH Nurse Bev is taking care of me next week. | |

| Glad to hear you made it home Ed. Mind what the Nurse tells you. Joyce said you could come down here and keep her company. | |

| It will be great if we don't kill each other by the end of the week. We are both tired and sort of snaping at each other tonight. Bev is afraid that her every little move is going to hurt me when she is helping dress. You should of seen us trying to figure out how to get me in the shower, ended up half in and half out. I still have to exercise yet tonight. I have to wear those TED hose for a while also, they are all sort of fun putting on
Jeff I don't think she would want me around I would have a ball bat on my head by days end

| That is great that you are home so quickly. Most people with knee replacement are in the hospital 4-5 days.
I'm sure Bev will do a great job nursing you and she will certainly make sure you do your daily exercises.
Take care and we will check in with you tomorrow.
Later, Mary and Jim | |

| Thanks Resq.
Yesterday was not to good and today is not starting out much better. Still have a lot of pain and swelling, But the upside is the therapy is working walking better range of motion is better, if I lay it flat on the bed I can not lift it up, therapy tells me that is in part to the swelling which is still pretty bad. They changed my pain meds yesterday I'll hit them hard today and see what happens. Thanks for asking | |

| Thanks Bob you made my day. Went to theraphy today that went well, they me told dont get excited on the swelling that might take another week to go down, but they were pleased with my progress. Just getting out lifted my spirits | |

| Best Wishes Mr. Ed (and Bev). Therapy is key. If you give up on maximizing your range of motion now, you will never get it back. Hang tough buddy. Another couple of weeks will make a big difference for you and all the inhabitants in your home. | |

| Thanks guys for the little extra push, at the moment the range is 70% the swelling is so bad that is all she'l do at the moment. I bend it until I scream then go a little further it WILL go 100% ASAP the wife will make sure of it. Walked about .2 of a mile just pushing the walker, felt great | |

| Ed, We are so glad to hear you are doing better! It will take a little time though. Yampol wants to know if that walker is "big horn" equipped! Hope your recovery time is short! Yampol & Tequila | |
