I have talked myself into riding Burning Rock July 26-28. Hope to be unloading for the first time around 1.30 PM that Thursday. Feel free to join me!!

If I am not out of town I think I will join you. Have always wanted to ride it but just could not get anyone else interested. When time gets closer I will firm my plans up.

Lee, I'll see if my schedule permits me to get away. Its a whopping 1 hour from my front door to BR so I might see if I can slip down and join you. I think the first and last time I rode with you was there wasnt it?

It was either there or Garden Grounds Bob. You guys did manage to sneak me in before the changes. I seem to remember locking the keys in the truck that trip!

Sorry - I missed your post Bob T. Got sidetracked by work. It happens sometimes. You and that other Bob come on! There may be one or two others from NC showing up. One on a CanAm 2up and a SXS'er or RZR'er.

I should arrive at BR around 1 PM Thursday. Sounds like Rocinate will be there too, and ride with me (look over me) through Saturday. Darrin Albert and his wife may make it - 50/50. They would be on an orange RZR. Darrin said he might just rent a cabin there.

Read that as an open invite to join - or - come take charge of the festivities!

This adventure isn't like staying at Mountain Top at all. Instead of firing off some coal or something, now I got to decide between Outback and Applebees. Oh well...

Well I did get thru a ride without blowing a tire Wink

However it wasnt without incident as a bee took upon itself to sting me above the eyebrow. I thought I'd got hit by a little rock at first until the burning started. With my luck I'm beginning to think its time to change hobbies again

There was more excitement today. T-75 got me, and got me good. Luckily the Brute planted a 10.0 side landing and stayed on the trail. Luckier still I couldn't right it on own and send in on down. Man was it slick. I did make it 7 miles this time before my incident. Only made it 2 yesterday! clown

Still having fun though!!!!

There were 2. One we could ride through. It was all new to me! Of course Bob T has been there. LOL! I didn't have much of an idea where we were until I viewed the tracks. Bob has us pegged though!!
