Winter is back!!

Winter weather is back. It was snowing on I-68 in Md. last night. Ground was all white in the Grantsville and Keysers Ridge area. But then it could snow up there in July. I thought we were done with winter after the past 2 or 3 weekends we have had.
This cold weather is going to hurt all the fruit trees and some flowers and shrubs with the buds getting frozen. Price of fruit will be out of sight this summer.

You are right about the fruit prices... we had hail yesterday before the temps dropped, but no snow!

Orchards in our area have already suffered losses. Especially peaches. Gonna be a tough season for fruit growers and consumers.

We had a blackeyed susan bloom on April 1. No foolin'. When I told Wi-Fee, she thought I was lying. (That hurt my feelings. )

Did any of you see the hail that feel somewhere in Texas in the last day or so? I'd never seen anything like it.

Hope it all blows out by the time I get back home. Warm and sunny today down here in the south. be in FL then Ga. Sc and Nc for about 3 days.

Glad this wasnt my weekend to go fishing with Dad. They are out on the lake in this
