| It's the only one I've ever owned or used, but I'd recommend it. Seems to be one of the higher benchmarks in the GPS industry. It came highly recommended by Gary, owner of ATVUtah.com, when we were out west riding with him. He's gotten to "try out" all the big name manufacturer units. He comes back to Garmin. Several people on here that have the 60Cx or the 60CSx are: RadRed44, Ruger, PrairiePounder, G-Bob, Sportsman, Jim, Grizz, DJ (new62series) Any unit can get you there & back... comes down to the features, controls and ease of use. Like anything else new, have to use it to learn it. It was all overwhelming to me at first, but now I'd hate to ride without one. Been places and seen stuff that we'd never had the chance to do without it. Once it's set-up to your liking and you have a few in's and out's down it's actually a "fun" tool to use. The Garmin MapSource Topo program can be downloaded online and higher quality maps too. You'll want a cradle mount and power cable also for it. I'll say go ahead and pull the trigger... there's plenty of people nearby to help you out with it. Anyone else think of any pro's ~ con's, things to think about or info for Tequila | |

| I've used the lesser 60Cx. Liked it a lot. Paid over $500 when it first came out. I would highly recommend it. Especially at that price. | |

| I believe I sold another one at lunch yesterday at Coopers. A guy was questions so I went out & got mine from the bike to go through all the screens with him. He really liked it and the idea of having the tracks to follow backwards when you didn't know where exactly you were riding in a new area. | |

Batteries first, then the power button... walk around the yard or you can drive around a little while with it on then thry and download the tracks from it to the computer. The books not too long, give it a good read, it's does a pretty good job explaining items on it. We'll get you set-up real soon. | |

| Mr. Ed, did you take yours to HM last week? If so how did it go? I haven't had mine on a trail yet, but several tracks in the car, and fooling around with it on the computer. Still a lot to learn I think. Wacker, Ruger, Can I get tracks off the card directly into the handheld while the card is in the handheld? I deleted the track off of the GPS and left it on the card as a gpx file. Do I have to put it on the computer and then load it back to the handheld? I know, questions, questions, questions. Thanks, YAMPOL | |

| If I understand it right... I'll say Yes. You deleted the "track log" If so, while your handheld is cabled to your 'puter, use it to go to the Main Menu Page, then Setup, then Interface, then USB Mass Storage, if correct ~ now your handheld device will be acting like a USB Flash Drive. You should be able to search for the Garmin "drive" from your computer and save off the date you want or open up the .gpx file that you want to view. This is where all your "RAW" GPS handheld track logs are saved onto the MicroSDcard. ~~~ Always more to learn. I can say this, While on the phone last week helping porkchop with his new GPS, he says, "what's this do?" while asking about a page "feature" that I'd never even seen or found before. I'm guessing that I probably only use 20-25% of the stuff that it can actually do. The biggest part of my use of it is to just get back to where I came from or follow another track on the screen, which leads me to this statement. "I'm not LOST, I just don't know where I'm at." | |

| If you're a male driver, you don't need to stop and ask directions. When you own a GPS, you're never lost; you just haven't arrived there yet. | |

| Just as a joke, but it does look cool. I do frequently use 2. You ought to see a pic I have of the dash of my truck, somewhere... 7 GPSs including an in-dash & a laptop with GPS receiver!!! Might be a little over the top??? We missed a turn anyway! | |
