Next Trip to Paradise

Well we are planning our next trip and looking to try a new "locale". Has anyone ever stayed at Skyland ATV Retreat? If so, reviews, recommendations?

I have stayed there a couple of times. It was fine and the owner Joe Dubay is a nice guy. The only drawback - if you want to call it that - is that the road is closed to ATV's from 9PM to 6 AM or so. Using that road is the only approved way to access the trails.

I do beleive Wack Daddy and a few others have stayed there too.

Thanks for the heads up Lee. The road closure overnight is not a big deal for us as we do not plan to do a night ride. We had a great riding trip last month but the lodging left quite a bit to be desired. I will omit the details because I was always taught that if you do not have anything nice to say...you know the rest. We have also done the Rockhouse thing plenty and want to try something new.

We stayed in the "Farmhouse" during a Turkey Trot Ride 2010.
It's an older place that covered four things: dry, warm, sleep, shower, etc.
Not the best place I've ever stayed and definitely not the worst either.
It put's you right in the middle of the IR and new PC HMT trail systems.
Plenty of parking area and space to turn around in the yard, can ride
everything you want right from there. Good Luck.
