I know you guys know Lou. He just posted on QuadCrew that a land slide wiped out his house. He is staying at the Depot with Terry.

You know its bad enough to turn on the news and see people displaced and going thru all crap with the floods and other disasters but it really sucks when its happening to someone you know.

I was just coming out of the Fab. Shop and he called me to say he was homeless... Shocked

Said everyone is ok & well... Greenville Rd is blocked by the mud slide and should be opened back up in a few days... the house was moved pretty good, but a small addition and power pole kept if from going into the road... no water damage inside yet so they hope to move everything out to storage... the mountain is right on top of his back door now, said there's no repairing it. He said he'd call back in a few days with an update in case anyone may be able to help move him out quick like. We were sure that storage units far & wide are going to start becoming a premium...

He said to tell everyone else and put out a quick prayer for everyone effected.

This is terrible, Justlou is such a great friendly guy, it just isn't fair. Our prayers & thoughts are with you & your famly.

Food for thought. Does your homeowners insurance cover the loss of your lot?

Sorry to hear of his loss. Certainly glad him and his family are OK. He's certainly had a string of "bad" luck.

Got to talk with Lou again quick this afternoon... Road is open enough to at least get back in with vehicles... They've got most of what they want out of their house and stored... Shut down all the utilities... He said none of those type of bills for a while would be a help and a blessing... He's a very up beat & cheerful guy and thankful that no one is hurt... Said we'd talk again in a few days. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
