One Day Only...

9 AM till 8 PM

At 8:30 this morning we stood with at least 200 people waiting for the 9 AM opening.

Over 150 older antique bikes were to be on display for sale along with the rest of 50 years
of motorcycle dealership collectibles, parts, supplies, ATV & bike tires, helmets, etc.

Skip was known to be an extensive collector (hoarder) of everything & never get rid of it.

So, they had quite the undertaking to gather it up, tag it, price it and get ready for the big day.

Here's a few pictures from today's adventure... not many pictures actually because of everything
that we were carrying around with us that we wanted to get.

I would say there is some Valuable Machines there. Still in the crate bike would be worth High $$$ to the right person. How many did you buy??????

Actual "units" for us = 0 zero

Good buys for us = Lot's

Very good buy's if you knew what you wanted or were even looking at for the matter, but some stuff was 30-40 yrs old.
Couldn't come close on price anywhere else if you needed it, wanted it or ever thought you might, you better be on it.

Some examples...

Any helmet - $50 ( Youth - $20 )

All gloves (riding, winter, cloth) $2 - Leather gloves - $5

All goggles - $7 ( Smith, Vega, etc. )

Honda oil filters - $2

All ATV tires - $25

I got a set of cruise peg mounts for our VTX at 60% off.

You could kinda till there were a few big spenders in the crowd, but
mostly everyone was just shopping or getting in each others way.

Looks like he had a good supply of gas tanks for different machines.

Yeah, we spent $5. We wouldn't have bought that but GUG and Wacker were close to the cashier window so they added it to their treasures. I wouldn't have stood in that line for 1 item. (a banner) Anyway, it was fun to look at the old bikes and stuff...we were the people in the way.
Yampol did hear a guy buy 5 parts bikes in the back building while we were looking around.

Lot's and lot's of tanks... some marked several hundred bucks... spotted one marked at $1000.

But most were all nice, new & shiny.
