LONDON, KY. — A local man died Sunday morning after crashing an all terrain vehicle on a dark road overnight.

Tyler M. Conner, 21, of Maineville, was riding a 2006 Honda TRX250 south on Pottershop Road in the Jabez community of Wayne County, Ky. shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and struck a fence, according to Kentucky State Police.

Conner was flown to a Lexington hospital for treatment of his injuries and was pronounced dead at 11:19 a.m., police said.

Kentucky State Trooper Don Trosper said Conner was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol usage is suspected.

Not to get too philosophical here, but sadly, the combination of youthful invincibility mixed w/ other factors like alcohol, speed, etc lead to many a young person's demise.
We should all be thankful that our guardian angels spared us to adulthood,
and we survived our youthful stupidity.

We should keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
