| Hi my name is walt cheney and im from up-state NY...way upstate lol. Me and my group of friends have been avid atv and atc riders since they were introduced. We recently have started an anual group ride where we hit new locations all over the US. This year we are headed to WV to experience some of your great riding! The Hatfield McCoy sytems and others nearby are getting our attention! If anyone wants to give us some ideas on best trails and lodging...food etc. please let me know..on here or in a PM. Most of us have sport quads so we are not big into mud or very rocky trails...now we are not against a variety but our machines are not the best for these. | |

| Welcome. Pinnacle creek is good on a sport quad. Trail 31 on rockhouse is AWESOME on a sport quad. Just go uphill...trail 33 to trail 93. Maybe have someone scout up at first to make sure no one is coming down the switchbacks. Lots of fun!!!  I personally think HMT should make that trail one way so you wouldn't even have to worry about anyone coming down the hill toward you. | |

| Hi everybody! My name is Jim and I just joined this forum. I am an old-timer (72 years old) who is not real tech savvy, so I am still learning my way around this site. Anyway, I ride an '08 Rancher, and my wife has an '07 Rancher. This is her second one, because she wore out her first one, a '97.
We also have a Kubota RTV500 side-by-side, which is a lousy trail machine, but an excellent work vehicle.
We ride mostly in Virginia and West Virginia, but have also ridden in Florida and Alaska. We also plan to ride in South Dakota this summer. Our entire family, sons, daughter-in-laws, grandsons, and granddaughter-in-laws also ride, so it is usually a family event when we ride. We are always looking for new places to ride, so appreciate any info we can find. That is it for now. See you on the trails. Jim | |
