| It surprised me. I don't really know why it did - but it did! I bought my 08 in Nov of 07 for $8026 or so out the door (7.25% nc tax in there), with a winch!
That is quite a jump. | |

| It seems lately all the "big" quads have been creeping up $400-$600 per year. Plus power steering is ~ $600 option on the Grizzlies over a non- PS. The prices of the new Yamaha's are also scary compared to my 2007 model year. Get the checkbook out.... | |

| Some of the new stuff
• Kawasaki’s high-grade Electric Power Steering (EPS) system offers both enhanced handling and increased ride comfort. • Upgraded fuel injected 90-degree 749cc V-twin Engine offers more power and enhanced low-rpm performance • New six-spoke cast aluminum wheels replace the old plain steel units and make a significant styling contribution while offering a more premium image • Re-styled bodywork (hood, bumper, fenders and headlight surrounds) are key elements of the Brute Force 750’s new wide and rugged design • Upgraded cargo racks feature stronger 1” tubing that is over 25% larger in diameter than the previous versions and integrated tie-down hook loops for added convenience • New instrumentation is easier to read at a glance and features a multi-purpose digital display with speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge, engine temp, clock, hour meter, and 2WD/4WD icon, plus indicator lamps for EPS, neutral, reverse, belt and oil pressure • New stronger double-cradle frame features additional reinforcement at critical points for increased ride comfort and enhanced ability to absorb shocks when sport riding on rough terrain

| Nice looking machine. The price. Yikes! It's our own fault partly, I guess. We want all the ginger bread but still want it to cost the same as the basic quad we bought ten years ago. All those cool acronyms~~ EFI, EPS, IRS, ESP, GYC ...~~ cost big bucks. I doubt any of us would want to go back to riding a 300 Fourtrax. Or even 450 Forman's (cough!!). Can you imagine stepping off your current day plushmobile and swapping it out for a straight axel no frills yesteryear quad? But...10 Grand...Ouch! | |
