| anyone have the cooter brown top from EMP. Says it is Made from 1/4 inch thick Polyethylene. I guess my main question is how well to the plastic tops hold up or is it better to spend a more and get a aluminum one. also with the plastic roofs has anyone had problems with them when trailering going 65 down the road. here is a picture of the cooter brown one. | |

| I had the plastic one. It would bow up in the middle on the interstate. I now have the aluminum one and I like it. Hope this helps. | |

| I like the looks of the cooter brown better than the Polaris sport roof I have. It would keep us drier. | |

| the thing I dont like about the polaris one is in the middle it V's in and looks like you would get wet. Are you still on your first plastic roof Mike? if you are does it seem to be holding up well? | |

| I've got both ~ the PoPo Sport Roof and the EMP Cooter Brown. Loved the EMP when we had it installed, a lot more coverage and just all round better looking. Keeps a lot of rain off of you also. But our MP3 stereo is mounted into the top of the sport roof so I put it back on for now. The Cooter Brown has a lip in the front that catches more air when trailering if there's a windshield installed so it needs an extra clamp in the middle of the roof at the front. I've got a few extras now for the next time we put it on. Also have the Cooter Brown MR-10 Hard Coat winshield too... you can squeegee it without having to stratch it at all. | |

| I've never "brushed" or "rubbed" either one on anything, but I like the idea that they'll give some if they have too. MP3 ~ it's a "custom" homemade job I fixed up. We're very happy with it for less then $150. Check it out here. | |

| We've been very pleased with it so far. I'm looking for someone to bend a few of these, they'll be a little bit smaller then the toolbox version so that they will be able to fit under any type of roof. Sheet aluminum that could be painted any color at all. | |

Thanks Ruger It's really only a 3 or 4 minute model, but the drawing looks pretty cool. I checked around the shop... we don't do hardly anything with aluminum sheet. It would be nice though, lightweight but sturdy and the mounting flanges would already be there plus give it support. I'm still working on it though ~ then the internals would be really easy to install. | |

| If you're going to paint it, just make it out of carbon, or ss. I knew about how long that piece took model. | |

| I have sport roof i like it. But the back corners have suffered from rubbing trees they have snapped off but now there ok since there not there anymore nothing to catch on anymore. The emp roof looks good but i think i would smak my head on it getting in all the time. Do any of you hit your heads. I personaly like the looks of the aluminum one best durable and cool factor. | |

| Thought I might not like it because of maybe hitting my helmet on the side, but never had any trouble ~ usually getting in and out your in a stance of sitting down. I hit my head getting in and out of our Ford Escort more... | |

| No, it never stops with a rzr. Especially if you cruise rzrforums.net I think we all see things we like on others bikes and pick and choose which are the most important to us. I have been wanting to make Greg's stereo proplaner kit for a year. One day maybe. I want to make a cheap window/door that keeps me dry and warm for snow plowing. I'm thinking about making it out of heavy reinforced clear poly and grommets. I only want to use it for plowing and I am by myself for that job. So I could just zip tie the passenger side on for the winter. | |
