Well 'tis the season to post Thanksgiving rides!!! Very Happy
Pics can be found HERE

Hmmm, I don't quite have the "insert link here" down pat!!!

5 of us made our annual trek to the south over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
2 from MI
2 from D.C. area.
1 from 50 miles north of St. Louis, MO.

We all had a great time. The weather was good, mostly. A little chilly at times, but it is nearly December.
The riding was awesome with a couple of issues...

Trail markings could have been better.
The same trail would be Blue and then Red on the ground. Might be Blue on the map!
Sometimes it was had to tell where you were on the map. So-o-o many trails were unmarked or not on the map at all.
1 minor bike problem, torn CV boot on the last day. Didn't stop us from riding tho. Discovered it halfway out on the trail.
Numerous creek crossings, swollen from the overnight rains.

Some crossings were made easier by concrete pads placed in the creek. Not very attractive but they worked quite well.

Trail 5 is BLUE on the map!!! It has some rocky steps that I didn't want to try.

Some trails didn't see much use.
Trails became creeks after the rain.
Some easy Green trails.

Looks like a beautiful place to ride. Where is Brimstone located? Enjoyed the pics. On page four you have a couple pics of what looks like a spring opening. Can't quite make out what the sign says..."Kee Blev's??" Laughing Thanks for sharing your trip report.

Its in Tenn PP. 15+/- miles off I 75. About 6+ hours from you. Very easy drive, been there a few times. Good lodging and great trails. Like stated some are not for the faint of heart.
G Bob it is a very nice place. The views are much like that of WV. It is a must ride location.

Brimstone, Windrock, and Ride Royle Blue are all right around the same location. I have seen posts where people said they have ridin to all 3 trails with their ATVs.

We mostly stayed off the Red trails. Blue was as tough as we wanted...mostly. On day the 2 ladies stayed in the cabin and the 3 guys went out. We had to back away from a couple of the Reds. Couldn't, Wouldn't or Shouldn't try some. But then again, you never know until you do!

Nice report and pics.
That one stream looked a little swift and deep.
I wouldn't have wanted to be the 1st one across!
I agree that it should be added as a "to go riding location." Smile
