| I have been in Florida all week for training and it concluded with an afternoon on our companies 60' Maritimo demo boat. We played with the joystick and the station keeping function. Station keeping is a function that after you push the button it keeps the boat in that position and mantains heading. For the pleasurecraft yacht market, it's a really big deal. We sit about 3' from the dock and it maintained our position to within those 3 feet. The plan was to go 'downtown' Jacksonville and tie up for dinner. A problem with the train bridge killed that so we went back to the dock and took the cars. Here are a few pictures. I couldn't get a full side view from the dock but I'm told some are on Facebook. Search Twin Disc Express. The main helm Wing station Interior My boss is the guy on the right Entering the St John's river That daum train bridge Downtown Jax from the river [ Most of the crew If you like traveling, you could say I have a pretty good job. Yes - I do get to run our boats. Did I say pretty?? ;D | |

The most different food this trip was Bison at Ted's Montana Grill in Orange Park FL. The best was shrimp and grits at the Brick House in Jacksonville. I try them if offered everywhere I go. They were by far and away the best I have ever had. I found their Crown Royal to be most excellent as well... A week of regular food next, then New Orleans Oct 7-11. There is nothing regular in or about the Big Easy, be it food or anything else!! | |

| Very nice Lee. Very very nice. The boats that I have been on, for safety reasons, require shoes be worn at all times. I too, like the varied topics of your post. Thanks once again for a cool post. Mr Ed. ....Uhhhhh....Trust me when I say this....You (are) famous. | |
