H/M July 4 Ride 2013

Subject: H/M July 4 Ride 2013 Thu Jul 11, 2013 9:59 am

Sportsman, Joyce, Bev and I met up at Pocahontas Trail on July 4th. I had never been there really liked the trail system.
We ended up at the Corner Cafe for lunch ( at Wackers suggestion) good choice. I felt like I had steped back in time.
Day 2 we ended up at a rough and rocky Indian Ridge, but still a good ride.
Day 3 found us at Gilbert (Livingood Lodge) with Bob & Cindy and friends. Rode Rock House into Man for lunch at the Colonial Restaurant.
Day 4 RAIN RAIN More RAIN - Stayed at the Lodge - had a good visit with Vivian and Randy. Just a relaxin and easy going day.
Day 5 - Headed home

Great Pix Ed. Looks like a good time. We just missed you at the corner shop in Bramwell by a day. Good call on the Sunday rain storm we ended up riding in the whole thing.

Tequila & I met some friends and went to Pinnacle Creek and Rockhouse over July 4th. Mr. Ed & Bev joined us as Ed said earlier. The fireworks went off without a hitch in Gilbert even though they were threatened by weather. Saw a nice small black bear on Rockhouse, Tequila couldn't get the camera out fast enough to catch the whole bear. The last day was full of rain, but the company was great. A few pictures are below.

We were at Pinnacle Creek on Friday. Had to turn around because of a tree. Were you in the 570?
