| Today myself and G-bob, along with my son-in-law Phil. made a trip to Bramwell to ride the new trails. Phil and I arrived at the parking lot before 9am, Gbob was already there. We unloaded said our hello's and headed for the trails. We decided to start out going to the right work our way around and then everything in between. We did about all of the Greens and most blues along with Black 86.85, 83,82 and 70. The roughest part of the blacks was #82 where it comes back into 13. The last part is downhill and a lot of loose rocks. A few heavy rains and it will be washed out. The trails were busy, we met several other riders on the trails. We rode about 42 miles. Phil trying to Tarzan. Break time Cemetery off trail12 Gbob with another tire Problem. Gbob stuck in a mud hole. Gps track of ride. other pics Here | |

| You'd think I've been riding long enough to realize that a mud hole with no tracks in and no tracks out is not a good place to go exploring Enjoyed the ride and thanks to Jeff for leading the expedition. Now to go order a new big horn. | |

| If you like playing the mud then this is your trail. Several of the black trails are black simply because of the mud holes. If you take the easy outs around the mud holes the trails are easy green at most.

| Me and some friends also rode HMP on Saturday. We tried 82 from the bottom and our first rider hit the lip rock and turned over on his side and hurt his ribs (probably broken) so we winched it down and did not try it. We also tried 84 (black and red), it is insane. After going down some long steep declines we saw the straight up gas line trail. Unbelievable that they have something like that on their system. It is red/black but some idiots will try it. It would be very difficult to get an injured rider out of there.
As you said a lot of the black trails, especially 85, are wet and tree canopied, that is where you want to ride in the hot summer.
I am about to publish a new map with the HMP included and do not have tracks for trails 81 & 82. If someone has them please PM me so I can include them.
If your are interested I have a complete set of cleaned tracks, minus 81 & 82, that I will be glad to send anyone.

| Yeah we lucked out in that we came down all the really steep sections of trail. I'm sure it might have been different trying to go up. We came out 83 but didnt check out 84. I think I spent longer cleaning up my atv today than I spent on it riding yesterday. I'm beginning to wonder if the shorter sidewalls on the 14 inch bighorns is contributing to the flat problems. I was rodding up 70 and took a pretty good hit on the front tire. Sure enough, rim cut and another ruined big horn. Im thinking about just getting a new set in 12 inch doing away with my 14 inch rims. Seems like everytime I take a hard hit on a front tire I end up having to buy a new tire. I know I'm a big boy but come on | |

| G Bob- I think you might be right on the 14 inch tires. I run 12 on all of our rides and never had a sidewall issue.

| We rode a little over 200 miles Bob. Craig was a first timer so our very first destination Wed was the trestles. Rode the scenic route. It wasn't clean when it arrived back in New Bern!! But it does have big fenders. | |

| At least it is just nickels and dimes right now Bob. Small price to pay for the fun I have with that thing! It looks like the input seal on the differential. $8... | |

| Somewhere around 4800 Bob. My target is 7500 for replacement, or consideration there of. That's a pretty lofty goal I reckon!
I may just do that Ruger. Doing a lot of work travel this month but hope to get to it soon. Looking out over Lake Michigan sipping my coffee this morning...
