my 800 hasn't been running qiute right,checked computer code bad left injector,changed it still not where it should be took bike to dealer who ran fullcomuter scan fuel pump only putting out 21 lbs should be 39 dealer says polaris only sels as complete unit gastank fuel pump and float assembly $532.00 no thanks fuel pump ebay 69.99 free shipping.tricky to take assembly apart but can be done back together running fine.next left rear axle making noise when turning so let's change before fall trip,got everything tore off glymer book say grab axle and a couple of quick jerks and axle will pop out yeah right well i sat down and and one big jerk axle out not all of it,bearing carrier aanx axle stub still on rear endnow what well tried drilling a hole through side couldn't get any more than half way through it broke out the tourches burnt two holes inti put a bolt with nut through it hooked up a slide hammer and finnaly out putting new one in almost as fin as getting it out.hold axle straight push in while collasping retaining ring need three hands for this i only got two so used my knee to push took awhile but in and back together runs great, thought everyone could use a little humour at my expense,thank god i have the ability to fix things or these would have cost alot at a dealer.my polaris dealer is green acres power sports in glendale wv always helfull with any problems comp scan 35.00 well worth it.does anyone with polaris's have a problem with their fuse boxes mine and wifes keep shorting out because of mud and water getting in them and no i'm not going to stay out of mud and water tried coatng with dielectric grease didn't help much

My ef1 fuse blew two times last trip out after ripping threw a huge water hole at 40mph never had problems before. That stinks about the cv i have torn my out 4-8 times and never had that bad a problem i tap it lightly with rubber mallet and one or two quick jerks and walla out it comes

I recently had the same problem trying to get a front axle off of Jo's old Kodiak. Slide hammer was the solution to that problem also

Put anti-seize on the CV joint shaft when reassembling.

i did put anti-seize on when i replaced it, longtime mechanic twenty years as mechanic in coal mine can fix just about anything just don't enjoy it like i used to

another thing to be aware of on the 800 Polaris, is the Mass air flow sensor wires. They can break in the insulation and you can't see it. There is a better replacement harness available on E-bay, it is made with heavier wires and connector.

07 sportsman 1300 miles just bought it jan only had 800 miles on it
