I was reading the reviews and some were not as favorable as others. I wonder if this model has the same processor as mine does. Next time we're all together I wanna see if theres a difference in the scrolling speed of our units. Thats the only complaint I have about my older 60C.

I think you can turn the level of "detail" up or down, off or on, but that may help...?
Never had any trouble scrolling, but when zooming in fast I believe it needs to process more of the detailed maps that are loaded.

I agree with Wacker. Works the same way when you have Mapsource up on your computer, more detail takes longer to refresh the page so to speak.

Alright...
Got a slower scroll & zoom speed now w/ a higher res topo map loaded on the handheld. Might be the same trouble your seeing now.
I try not to load up anymore maps then I have to incase that helps save memory or speed... not sure that it does or even matters.
