| I thought I had heard someone mention a PA ride when we were at PL's place. If I get a PA plate this year, then I'll be good to go to UT next year!!! Assuming that PA and UT still enjoy reciprocity with each other??? | |

| OK. I think I found it. Who must register and title?
All ATVs in Pennsylvania, except ATVs used solely for business or agricultural purposes, need to be registered and titled with DCNR. ATVs used in Pennsylvania must be registered and titled with DCNR's Snowmobile/ATV Section. The ATV registration and titling fees are NOT user fees for the privilege of using trails on state-owned land. The fees provide funding to administer the program, maintain trails on DCNR-managed parks and forests, and provide grants to profit and non-profit organizations for developing additional riding opportunities.
Pennsylvania registration is NOT required for:
ATVs used exclusively as utility vehicles for agricultural or business operations; ATVs owned by nonresidents covered by a valid registration in their state, province or country that honors Pennsylvania registration;
So, since NC doesn't title or register ATV's, would I have to title mine in PA? Some of this is starting to sound familiar...

| There's some on here from MD... DJ750 in VA even has a PA plate. As long as you have proof of insurance and send them $20 with the app filled out you should get a plate good for 2 years. Anyone? Two other guy's from NC that we've rode with once got PA plates. Anyone? | |

I'll give them a call. If nothing else, it would cool to have an official license plate on it!

| When I registered my ATV last fall in PA (The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources) I had to fax them the filled out form , title and a copy of the bill of sale. I included my cell phone number in the fax and they called me and I paid with a debit card over the phone. I had the plates in about five days. You don’t have to give them proof of insurance however you are required to have it with you while riding. You do have to give a copy of you driver’s license and insurance card when you get your SSRT trail permit. All was very easy and the lady in the office is very friendly and helpful. Pick a date for when Spring gets closer or throw some out now if you know them.
We got our SnowShoeRail Trail stickers this week in the mail, start looking towards a weekend when Spring weather breaks.
