I had never heard of this trail, but seems to be favored amoung the dual-sport riders.

A guy named Johnny from UTVinc.com is looking to give it a try though. (4800 miles)

A work buddy and his son made it into Colorado before they ran out of time. It was a little slower going than what they had thought it would be, but they really enjoyed themselfs. They were on a Russian-made three-wheeled motorcycle, a Ural. They were all prepared. Lots of extra fuel. Extra wheel/tire. Camping gear.
