| Everyones having a good time except Joyce, she has been laid up since 4hrs after we got here. She slipped and fell and broke a bone in her foot. It's been cold here at night down to about 58 at night. | |

| We actually rode some of the orv trails today for the first time. After a short run down one of them the razrs decided they werent for them. I can honestly say they were tight on my brute force so if you come here with a utv I would recommend avoiding some of the orv trails. There are plenty of old logging trails to ride without having to beat up your shiney new razrs They also have a habit of leaving small stumps sticking up along the trail which have a tendanacy to reach out and grap the front wheel at the most inconvieneint time. If you like to ride fast ...keep your eyes on the trail ...if you like to look around...ride slow...... | |

| Got home at 10 last night after a marathon 15 hour drive thru pouring rain and road construction. The dogs and cats were very happy to see us. Jo was happy to have her couch to sleep on although Spike is having a hard time running back and forth between us. Notes from the road. Saw an endless stream of motocycle riders coming across the Mackinac Bridge. Must have been something going on as people were lined up along the road watching them. Traffic was backed up in Ann Arbor for miles for one little bit of road construction. Added at least 45 mins to the trip home. Saw a bunch more motorcycle riders in ohio in the pouring rain with no helmets or googles..... are they tough or stupid..you be the judge I know how much the rain stung the other day on my atv and I had a helmet and googles on. Anyhooo I'd say a great time was had by everyone (but Joyce) and thanks to Wacker for the planning and to Ruger for the cooking. | |

| Made it home yesterday around 3:15pm. Ran into the same traffic jam in Ann Arbour, made a quick decision to head west and got on I275 South ran into another jam that I couldn't get out of but it wasn't as bad as Ann Arbour.
Had one last hoorah with the gang last night as we had perch/walleye. And ice cream for dessert. Nate and Nicole joined us also along with their future RZR rider.
Pictures posted later today hopefully as I get caught up on things around here. | |
