Project is about 90% complete. Need to weld up the side rails they will be removable. Wire the lights and attach some tie down points. Have about 12 hours in it and $450. Trailer is 14 X 6.5 should haul three quads with no problem.

I liked the detail of wrapping the bar stock around the corner. Nicely done.

Well thank you thank you!
It gives me a sturdy lip and the triangles that it creates will hold my side racks.

Okay scraping the brakes that came on the boat trailer, ordered parts to switch over to electric brakes not to bad $150.00 all new parts. Going to take it to RCH this weekend without brakes give it a test run. I will get some potos of the side rails.

I just thought of something.
What is the weight rating on the axle and tires?
3 quads = 2100 pounds or so.
Add the trailer weight of 1,000 lbs +/-.
Equals 3,100 lbs. Does that boat trailer have a 3,500 lb axle and tires rated for that?

Yeah the axle is 3500 lbs rated so that is what is on the title. I could get the title changed and go without breaks. But I am going with the breaks. Sandstone Mtn here I come. Just like the breaks in the hills of WV

Looking good! Might want to weld that permanent tag on. Those are the most stolen tag in NC. At least screw up the bolt heads real good...
