| I have found a little trick to try and make the tierod ends last a while longer. This will work on the RZR's outside tierod ends, also on all other newer Polaris ATV tierod ends. I use a needle type grease gun adapter, insert it under the rubber boot, pump some grease in the boot. Then use your fingers and work it around in the boot, while twisting the tierods back and forth to get them coated with grease. I have used this on the 700 and the 800 T. Just be careful and not put the needle thru the side of the boot. The grease will help keep some of the water out, and not let the joint rust and wear out. Here is a picture showing the needle inserted in the boot. |
