Hi All,
Just wanted to give my $ .02 worth on the Wolfsnout dust mask... We ordered a couple of them about a month ago, and I have used mine twice with a full coverage helmet. The sport model can be used with any type of helmet or without (mowing), which is what ours are. It is very effective, and quite comfortable. (Weekend #1- moderately dusty, #2- very!) Not quite certain how I managed with a bandana in the past! Temperatures have been moderate both times, but so far, my goggles or glasses haven't fogged up. I think it is probably going to be cooler and more comfortable than a bandana for summer use. The first wearing, I had to get used to the correct positioning of the strap so it didn't pull my hair. Laughing Oh, it rinses out easily too.
Very happy with the product!! IMO, two thumbs up!

I got Jo and I a set of them a year or so back and I like them. Jo didnt care much for hers as she's happy just using a bandana and wetting it down from time to time. After our trip to Utah I said I would never complain about the dust in WV but how quickly we forget.

Utah is the only place I've ever seen an atv quit because the air filter was so clogged with dust. And I think that was on the 2nd day of riding

When I look back through our pictures though it seems like the dust was minimal overall.

I remember Gary 'ATVUtah' telling everyone, "don't ride bumper to bumper like back East"
Spread out, give yourself plenty of room and enjoy all the great views...

Worked great as long as everyone was responsible for the person behind them at turns.

We love it out there - just a completely different type of riding all together.

Upon Tequila advice I decided to order the Wolfsnout, fits sort of wierd, going to use it when cutting grass just to see how it works, maybe next year it can get the real test in Utah Smile

Yes, the fit does seem odd until you get used to it. The first couple times when taking my helmet off- I'd remove the WS...now I just let it hang around my neck. When ready to go, I just tuck it up behind the mouth/chin guard on my helmet, much quicker. I have rinsed mine out with cold water after each use, and it's amazing how much dirt comes out of them. Yuck.
We're getting ready to purchase some 1/2 helmets for summer riding...anxious to see if I have to readjust strap position.

You'll get some funny looks when you wear the snout with your half helmet. I know I do Smile
