This has been riding around in my signature for a while, but I wanted to let all know we'll have a rather large group riding from Mountain Top March 14-17. As is the norm, all are welcome.

I'm packing and hope to be out of New Bern by 10-10.30. Loading in the rain will suck a little, but keeping the end goal in mind I'll suffer through it!! Well, I guess I'll see who I see in Crumpler and see the rest of you here long about Sunday.

I had a grand time. It was nice to meet you Dix and Ruger, and good to see Greg and Midget again. It was quite the crowd - with wildly varying riding philosophies. One day we left with 21. We were down by 8 @ 9.5 miles (mechanical), and then less 4 more at 17 miles (pace to slow).

It was still much fun!

North facing sides on the mountains still held snow friday from Tuesday & wednesday , up to several inches in places.
Was 72 on Saturday afternoon & breezy.
Could have also been called the 4 seasons ride - winter Wednesday , Thursday , spring Friday , summer Saturday with thunder storm, fall Sunday .
