Coral and I went on a couple of short rides this past weekend.

Thursday we rode down to Badlands ORV Park in Attica, IN. This place surely reminded me of the Mounds and Bundy Hill. Somewhat different but very similar. Perhaps 1/4 was a gravel pit. 1/4 was reserved for larger SUVs and Jeeps. The rest was woods, no real trails to speak of. We rode about 4-5 hours and put on about 15 miles. Like I said similar to the Mounds and Bundy.

Fresh snow made it hard to follow any trails...where there were any.

We were the only ones riding, so we were told we could ride in the SUV section. That was the best part.

Flags are required, so I just used the ones I bought for Bundy.

Saturday was an entirely different type of ride. Turkey Bay in the LBL (Land Between the Lakes), KY.
This is how we started out the morning:

Then a refreshing 'swim'.

Over hill and dale.

Of course playing on rocks is always fun.

All-in-all it was a great extended weekend. I would go back to Turkey Bay. No reason to revisit the Badlands when I can just go to the Mounds or Bundy.

There was even a sandbar out in the middle. Nice rocky, gravel bottom. It was mostly uniform depth. Whitecaps made it interesting!!!
