looking at doing a wagon wheel/hatfield trip in april

Where is a good place to stay down? looking over bobT's gps tracks are there any must see area's while we are there? any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

Several options in the area will put you right in the middle of HMT/WW country...

They should both be marked as waypoints on the GPS map.

You must see it all, as much as possible anyhow...

Basically in the middle the Pinnacle Creek Trail system, but further away from IR & Poch

Dixie, the link below will take you to a download site where you can download a Garmin GPS file that has all of the lodging locations that I know of in the Outlaw/Pocahontas/Indian Ridge/Pinnacle Creek area. This file is just the waypoints for the lodging locations. Open this file with my map in the background and you will be able to see there relative locations.

If you double click on the waypoint the properties dialog will open. In it you will the see the phone numbers and website links. Click on the arrow beside the url link at the bottom and it will take you to their website.

When you download the map you have the option to download the original tracks and that is where this info is located. I have recently updated this info which will be included in the next map release.

Lodging

thanks for the info guys. I think we are leaning towards mountian top. Have any of you stayed in the cabins. if so how are they? I will let everyone know when we get the date set for sure so if anyone wants to come ride.
