Just filled the truck up with gas and some extra for the 'Lil Red Honda power plant.

Every gas station stall full, every parking space at every store seemed full, etc.

Ruger must be right... the end is near Question

Cleaned the gutters today. Went to Dad's house and did the same. Let's see, all cars are full, generator is full and did a test run on that. Batteries charged, chainsaw ready,plenty of water and food, beer cooler full. Oh I forgot the wine!! One more trip to the store and we will be ready. Very Happy Bring it on!!

I also filled two rain barrels with water.

Checked the oil in Lil' Red, purrs great,
extension cord is nearby the flashlight.

May have to just watch some movies on
the 13" TV / VCR Combo if electric goes.

Cook out anyone Question

The 4-wheel drive still works in Jo's truck, Right?? Just use it.!!!! Laughing Or is she afraid you will tear it up too??? Laughing

We now have 3, 4 wheel drives in the driveway. All have gas in the tanks, 1 has 2 new batterys, and 1 has almost new tires. Plus the Rzr and the atvs have gas in them, so I'am sure I can get out if we need to go.

Was on the Ohio Turnpike yesterday, ran east out Y-town and back. Must have easily seen over 100 utility trucks headed east along with another 30-40 tree cutting trucks.

Best wishes to all you folks on the east coast. Frankenstorm looks to be full of bad potential. If he happens to reach us, we too are prepared for anything that leaves the house standing. Neutral

Yeah, I was thinking it may be media BS, but I suppose satellite pics don't lie.
Should be interesting. Stay safe all!

It's a good morning so far, the power is still on so the house is warm. Looks like all the water made it's way around the house to the lower field, basement seems dry everywhere. Lot's of branches down but no trees to clean up. Happy Tuesday ~ Hope all is well. G&P Smile

We are doing good here too. Basement is dry, full power in the house and no broken branches but lots of leaves everywhere. Hope everyone else made out okay.

Thanks for letting us know. Were good in SE Ohio, dusting of snow, some wind. Can't imagine what it is like in NY and other costal areas

1ST PIC.

Is that Antietam Creek, looking east towards 316? It looks familiar.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sandy was definitely as advertised. Figured the media was just blowing it out of proportion as usuall.
Yep that's it... as I was walking back up the hill from taking that picture,
a couple kids in an older farm jeep came ripp'n around the corner and
flew through it was fast as they could. Made a Big wave of water Exclamation
No license plate on it as they tore by me... Rolling Eyes
