| Ill add to flipper's report of trails closed. Myself and a few others found a short connector closed, mine above ww south from beartown road down to pinnacle crk/wvtrail last weekend. I love a good nite ride but not the place to do it never being on that trail. Had to track north past the mine and loop back by riders paradise makin our way to hilltop cabins. Large log with dozed work around it at the intersection. (N37 26.995 W81 20.615) We did have a great ride all in all. More miles than i was expecting but did manage a few pics now and then. Rain fell a bit friday and saturday, but sunday was an all day toad choker so we packed up and called it early. Rode Indian ridge and some local ot trails around Crumpler friday thanks to Bob T maps, and ventured up to Pinnacle Creek and lunch in Pineville, ventured back on a few trails for a full day of riding on saturday. Nice area, never rode the ot in this area and views were great. Thumper showed up a little later friday, settin out to ride with his step son and his friend. He was on an local ot trail and scatt happens when it rains and the rocks are slick. One of the best riders i know, can happen to anyone. Few bruises and a bent bumper but walked away and rode all the next day. He is a tough one. Video says it all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXM71kA39YI&feature=youtube_gdata_playerMy Pics -------> Crumpler Ride 2012 | |

| That video was scary. I think that is the first helmet cam video I have seen with the rider crashing. He was quick getting off of it.
Where do you stay at Hilltop? I had several friends staying there last weekend, one of them put in a new trailer.

One group had a gooseneck trailer loaded with quads... dont know how in the world he made it up, and for that fact down with all the rain.
