carpal tunnel surgery

Any of you ever have it done. What is recovery like. And did it work? Lookong like i am gonna have it done soon. Ya me

i had it done to both hands in the early 80's helped some but mine had been let go to long suffered nerve damage so my hands are still somewhat numb but it did help with the pain.6 weeks time off work

gump my barber had it done to both of his hands and he said they feel 1000% better. He said it was well worth the down time.

Dixie thats what i wanted to hear. How much down time did he have, just wondering i have heard wverything from 2 days to 6 weeks.

I think he was off around 4 weeks.

Chin had it done on both wrists.
There were six weeks seperating each surgery.
Unless you have a willing rear wiper it is not recommended to do both surgeries at the same time.

She feels way better now but once in a great while the wrist causes her hand to make a fist and it is hard to open first thing in the morning.

be sure this is a workmans comp claim,when i had it done i didn't know it was work related (i was a mechanic most of the time in the mine) and really paid when pension time came around cost me alot of money good luck.i had both done at the same time plus a vasectomy tough times yes if i had to do it again one at a time
